This page explains how to add shortcuts to the Unit Homepage and SPSS to your desktop.

Shortcut for Unit Homepage

Create a desktop shortcut which launches the unit homepage using Firefox:

  • r. click on Firefox icon in Quick Launch bar at bottom of screen and select Properties
    • ctrl-c (to copy)
      • close Properties box
  • r. click on desktop
    • New
      • Shortcut
        • ctrl-p (to paste the path to Firefox)
          • type a space
          • type http://wilderdom.com/7126 (the path to the unit homepage)
          • Finish
  • Double-click on the short-cut to see if it works

Shortcut to SPSS

Create a desktop shortcut to SPSS

  • Start
    • All Programs
      • Applications
        • SPSS
          • SPSS X.Y for Windows
            • r. click on SPSS X.Y for Windows
              • Create Shortcut
                • Yes (on the desktop)
